Nothing special, just a sketch I did after reading a line in game of thrones about a knight in green armour with golden antlers, which I don’t remember seeing in the series, would’ve been awesome.
Really enjoying the game of thrones book. Watched the series twice I liked it so much , so thought I had to read the original book of course. Very interesting getting to read all the characters thoughts and all the extra information and little scenes that are in there too. Some of the descriptions were surprising too, like in the book they say tiron is ugly with mismatched yes and could be mistaken for a gargoyle, but there’s no way I’m going to think of him as anyone else other than Peter Dinklage because he’s so perfect at playing him.
Also lots more information on the targaryens history which was nice and a lot more is made of the direwolves and sword names too. I thought there would be more of the wolves in the books , you can tell even watching the series that they are almost like “familiars” but it’s hard to characterize dogs in real life I’d think.
Leaves me at a dilemma of if i should read the next book before the next series though. One thing I loved about watching the series the first time was all the plot twists and turns and not knowing what was going to happen next, so if I read ahead it will spoil that part for me, but also vice versa it takes alot of the “page turnerness” out of the book knowing what’s coming.
